7-13-20 THOUGHTS

What a joy to start my day with the following passages...
Ps 90:14   O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days         The Message Bible says it this way...
     Surprise us with love at daybreak; then we’ll skip and dance all the day long.
Ps 36:5-9    Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.  6  Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like a great deep. O LORD, You preserve man and beast. 7  How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. 8  They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. 9  For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.
Ps 103:1-5    Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.  2  Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; 3  Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; 4  Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; 5  Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Ps 23:1-6   The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2  He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. 3  He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. 6  Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
1John 4:9-10   By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.  10  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Ps 85:6    Will You not Yourself revive us again,
                             That Your people may rejoice in You?
Php 4:4     Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

My Prayer:
We see your great love, Oh Lord,  everywhere we look. Thank you for the day, for life and health and love.  Thank you for hope in Christ Jesus.  Teach us to be happy as we behold your loving kindness.  We ask your presence in our day.     We praise your great name.
